For Danny Wilde's third solo album, he teamed up once again with 'The Boyfriend' producer Peter Coleman (Pat Benetar.) Wilde delivered yet another album of pop rock gems. The opening track and single The Stuff That Dreams Are Made Of received solid airplay upon the release of the album. The sunny rocker California Sunshine featured Peter Frampton on guitar, and the classic Like A River was probably one of Wilde's best solo song from the 1980s. But shortly after the album's release, Danny Wilde was dropped by Geffen. Looking back, this might have been a blessing in disguise--within a year, Wilde would form the Rembrandts with Phil Solem and land a top 20 hit with Just The Way It Is, Baby.
Wilde's self-titiled album from 1989 was released on CD, but has been out of print for several years. Now you can download tracks from the album right here!
